Adults only
The gaming room inside the hotel is open to people of 18 and over, which is the age Queensland sets. The front page asks you to confirm your age before going further. Answering that question dishonestly does not create any right to enter the room, because the question that counts is the one asked at the door, with photo ID in hand, every visit.
No gambling happens on this website
The site describes a hotel and one room inside it, and it does not offer games, accept bets, hold accounts, take deposits or process payments. Nothing you do on this site can win or lose you money. Gaming takes place only in the building at 14 Davidson Street.
Accuracy, and what this site is not
We keep the hours, the rooms and the descriptions current, and we still get things wrong. Hours change at short notice, a room comes out of service, the kitchen runs out of something. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and no page here forms a contract. A booking exists when we have confirmed it to you by telephone or email, and the terms you were given then are the ones that apply.
Our material
The text, the drawings, the photographs and the arrangement of this site belong to the hotel or are used by it with permission. You may read it, print a page for your own use and link to it. You may not republish it, copy it onto another site, or use it to train a model, without written permission.

Where this site links to somewhere else, that is a convenience and not a recommendation. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or do.
Conduct on the property
The house is small and the rules are few. Staff may refuse service, refuse entry to the gaming room, or ask a guest to leave, where someone is intoxicated, abusive, cannot produce identification, or behaves in a way that makes the place unpleasant for other guests. In the gaming room the decision of the staff on the floor is final at the time it is made; if you disagree, raise it with the duty manager afterwards, not at the table.
Availability
The site is offered as it is. We do not promise it will be reachable at all times, and we may take it down for maintenance without notice.
Liability
We are liable for what the law does not let us exclude, and under the Australian Consumer Law that includes a good deal. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website, such as a journey made on the strength of hours listed here that had changed.
Which law applies
This site and these terms are governed by the law of Queensland and of the Commonwealth of Australia, and the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction.
