In short, nothing is stored until you answer the bar, and the two things this site does store are listed by name below.
The two keys this site writes

Both are local storage entries, which strictly speaking are not cookies. They never leave your browser, no other site can read them, and they contain no identifier.
What Consent Mode v2 does
Every page in this site sets four Google consent signals to denied in the head, before any other script is reached:

Denied is therefore the state the page starts in, before any tag has run. Accepting the bar sets all four to granted; declining leaves them as they were.
What would be set if you accept
No analytics or advertising tag is present on the site as it stands. If one is added, accepting would allow Google Analytics 4 to write its _ga and _ga_<id> cookies, which last two years and count returning visitors, and a Google Ads tag to write _gcl_au, which lasts ninety days and attributes a click to an advertisement. Declining means none of them is written.
Changing your mind
The footer of every page has a Cookie settings link. It reopens the bar, and whatever you choose replaces your earlier answer straight away.
Blocking it all in the browser instead
Every browser can refuse this without asking us. In Chrome and Edge the setting is under Privacy and security, in Firefox under Privacy & Security, in Safari under Settings then Privacy. Blocking storage entirely will mean the age question returns on every visit, because the answer cannot be kept.
What this site does not use
- No social network pixels. There is no Facebook, Instagram, X or TikTok tracking code here, and no social buttons that load one.
- No device or browser fingerprinting.
- No advertising network beyond the Google tag described above, and that only with consent.
- No session recording or heatmap tool.
- No third-party fonts or scripts loaded at run time. The typefaces are served from this domain.
