One room on the garden side, and one event a day

Forty seated at round tables or seventy standing, with the side garden and the pool terrace included for the evening.

The Mango Room is the 1957 wing's end room, with doors on three sides that open onto the garden. It takes the long table's overflow at Christmas and is otherwise hired for weddings, wakes, birthdays and the occasional conference that wants somewhere without a projector screen.

We take one event a day, because the kitchen that cooks your dinner also cooks for the house, and splitting it would serve neither of you well.

How it works

Four things we will tell you on the telephone anyway

  • One event a day, so the kitchen is not split between a wedding and the long table.
  • The garden comes with the room for an evening booking, including the pool terrace.
  • Music stops at eleven, since the house has fourteen bedrooms above the room.
  • The gaming room can't be hired privately and isn't included in any event booking.
